ACADEMIC DISTINCTIONS:

UNIVERSITY OF SASKATEWAN

In 2008, Helen donated to the Kinderline Gallery at U of Sask two large paintings for the encouragement and development of emerging women in the arts in Saskatewan.

YORK UNIVERSITY

In 1991, Helen donated over 400 works on paper and 27 paintings from her early black and white period to the archives, Special Collections of the Scott Library at York University. Her works can be found hanging in Founders college, Atkinson College, the School of Women's Studies, the Office of the Vice President Academic Affairs, the Canadian Woman Studies Journal as well as the offices of the Centre for Feminist Research. These works were donated to York to acknowledge the people, departments and colleges who have advanced the causes of women development at York University. In addition, the archives at York have been and will continue to collect all of Helen's papers (her press clippings, her correspondence.... anything that has to do with her life and work).


SIMON FRASER UNIVERSITY

In 2002, three large paintings were donated to Simon Fraser University.
